A Greek Odyssey - This aerial journey over 16,000 kilometres of Greek coastline and its myriad of islands begins in Corfu then flies on to the eastern coast of the Peloponnese. Heading south, the journey flies over Poros, Kythira, and Crete, the heartland of Greek mythology. Heading into the Aegean Sea, it takes us to the Cyclades archipelago. The island of Santorini is the birthplace of the legend of Atlantis. Here, 3600 years ago a terrible earthquake and volcanic eruption blew Santorini apart, spawning the neighbouring islets. On to the island of Milo, famous for its sulphur deposits, pumice stone, pearlite and marble. To the east is the island of Amorgos, with its monastery perched 300 metres above the sea. On to Delos, where more Egyptian temples were built than anywhere else in Greece.
