  • The Japanese town of Karuizawa, at the foot of Mount Asama is a popular tourist destination, only 150 km from Tokyo. But it faces an unusual problem: the local brown bear population is becoming addicted to the town's rubbish dumps, and they even venture inside people's houses. The number of fatal encounters between humans and bears is on the increase, and local authorities are worried. Biologist Junpei Tanaka of the Picchio Wildlife Research Centre must quickly find a solution in order to save the local bear population. He teams up with American bear expert Corrie Hunt and her Karelian bear dogs and with French naturalist Rémy Marion to try and keep men and bears at a safe distance from each other. • Movie: Swimming Pool - Sarah Morton is a famous British mystery author. Tired of London and seeking inspiration for her new novel, she accepts an offer from her publisher, John, to stay at his home in Luberon, in the South of France. It is the off-season and Sarah finds that the beautiful country locale and unhurried pace is just the tonic for her, until late one night, when John's indolent and insouciant French daughter Julie unexpectedly arrives. Sarah's prim and steely English reserve is jarred by Julie's reckless, sexually charged lifestyle. Their interactions set off an increasingly unsettling series of events, as Sarah's creative process and a bizarre murder blend dangerously together. Written and directed by Francois Ozon, and stars Charlotte Rampling, Ludivine Sagnier, Charles Dance and Jean-Marie Lamour.
